Much more on your route plan is Montseny National Park, near Barcelona.
At the foothills of the mountain is a village called Campins which has an excellent restaurant (frequented by Barcelona FC players). Have lunch there (recommend the lamb) and then drive from Campins up the mountain to Col de Revell. This is my favourite road in the whole of Europe.
From Col de Revell, join the C25 and head towards Vic. After a couple of miles (very enjoyable miles these are too) you come to a massive viaduct. Take the exit at the end of the viaduct, which winds down to the hairpin where Panizzi did his donuts.
Sacred Ground
From here, you can head back to Vic and take the N152 down to Barcelona.
If you are really up for it, take the N152 from Toulouse, over the Pyrenese (a bit of breakfast at Ax Les Therme goes down well) to Vic and approach the hairpin and from the other end and then onto Coll de Revell for a descent into Campins. This will be the ultimate test for those big APs

James,
I drove over the col de Turini last summer - quite spectacular but mostly narrow and blind !
However on the way we drove from Gap/Barcelonnette (not to be confused with Barcelona which is completely the opposite side of the country) over the col de la Cayolle - one of the best drives I've ever had. Twisty and steep but mostly wide enough with good views ahead. Between the twists are spectacular waterfalls and the top is above the tree line still with snow banks at the side of the road in June !!
Check it out.

I daren't use the image tag as you will need a 36" monitor to see this pic, but this is the place you are looking for. This is looking south, towards Col de Revell.
Note Panizzi's tyre marks

Thanks to all.
Back yesterday. 3400 miles!
Did the Torini route - Exceptional!
Lovely roads all round, except perhaps some of the Spanish back roads/tracks!
Could not believe how much attention the scooby got. Morrettes and front mount perhaps?
98Ron, oh yes indeedy. And a final reminder what decent roads are all about!

Next time you're in France, have a go at the "Cime de la Bonnette", highest pass in Europe!
I'm off in three days time to the Drome area, where Peugeot, Ford, Subaru and Mitsu all practise for the Monte, 'cos the roads are quieter, even in summer.
First time with the Scooby in this region,so I can hardly wait.
Did have a blast in the shotgun seat of a dutch Scooby driven by a total lunatic last year though.........
