Default Searching for my dad’s old car

Hello - I’m a newbie here. I’m trying to track down my dad’s 2006 light blue WRX which I had after he passed but then sold on. I can see it’s due an MOT and is taxed until the end of Jan 22 but just wondered if anyone had any ideas or suggestions as to the best way to try and track it down? I sold it to a garage in Blackburn UK I think in 2012. Anyone got any useful suggestions - yes I know I shouldn’t have sold it! Maybe the current owner is on here? Living in hope! Thanks

Hi mate, sorry to hear about your Dad. You would have to contact the DVLA and they could pass on your details to the current owner. Another option is to post on the FB groups the current owner might be on there.

Don’t beat yourself up for selling it mate, sometimes situations dictate decisions 👍

Yes I know it but wasn’t sure about posting it. First part is YX06 - guess that gives people a starter…
