993TT sold, what next?
£50K budget ( sold 993TT for £35K).
Thought about a 01/02 996TT. Tried GT3 - too track orientated.
Fancy a new M5 but out of my price range at the moment.
RS6 possibility.
Any other ideas ??

I prefer the RS6 avant - just something about them, RS4s are nice, but the 6 wins everyday only thing i dont like is the reading which tells you fuel economy - lol I used 10 miles worth of juice in 300 metres ,was goin a bit quick tho ! just cant beat that sound

I would'nt bother with a RS6 etc if you don't need the space. Why lug around an extra 300-400kgs? It will only compromise the handling.
Have you driven the 997s? Its a very nice package.
Happy hunting!

That's a right stunner - even got a black cat crossing it's path...I wonder if it will pass it twice...

Personally I would have kept the 993 Turbo - perhaps re-invented it if I was bored. Get a few Ruf parts on it to keep me amused or something!
Other than that maybe:
RS4 New
LHD Ferrari 360 Coupe - these cars are great as they have done the bulk of their depreciation and just recently taken a huge hit with the excellent reviews of the 430. Who says a Ferrari can't be an every day car - I have two friends who use them everyday for their commute. One 360 spider, one 575M both cover about 50 miles a day.
Wait for V8 M3
Take a current M3 CSL with few miles on the clock - the first owner has taken the hit especially when BMW launched the M3 CS - same colour nothing like as good.
There is always a M400 Noble for the performance nut in you but if it were my money I could not get past paying £50k on a car with '94 spec Ford repmobile rear lights and engine block!
