Default Where to take to get welding done ?

Hi all, my baby just failed it's mot on a patch of rot on the rear sill ( rear jacking point). And a inner front cv boot.

I'm looking for a good trustworthy garage to take it to now for the repairs. I'm very attached to this car and can't bear the thought of it going in a dodgy garage who might bodge it or do work that's not up to par.

Cheers.

Where abouts are you? Depends really on price. I went to one well know garage and they quoted me a grand.

I spoke to a one legged guy in the street who say he could do it for £300 lol then quote a quote from another garage for £500.

My mate does welding he's mobile, but busy.
