Default MOT Fail

Evening troops..

Just got my car back from the garage after it failed an MOT. The fail slip has these two reasons for failure....

Nearside rear body or chassis has excessive corrosion seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of the body mountings..

Offside rear body or chassis has excessive corrosion seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of the body mountings..

How bad is this and how do it go about getting it fixed? Thanks in advance

Need to see pictures really, could be anything. If you cant weld yourself then get a quote from a reputable garage.
