I am as sure as I can be, unless there is something dodgy going on.
But..
I have never had this myself. Are you sure it wasn't related to another browser window you had open?
If it happens again. please make a note of which adverts appear at the bottom of the page, then try closing the pop-up, then refresh the page you are on and see if it opens again.
If it does email me the url please.
Alternatively, if it doesn't, refresh until you've seen at least one impression of the each of the two ads that were at the bottom and see if it pops up again.
If it does, would you tell what the ads are?
Many thanks
Simon

Some sites spawn another window that cannot be "seen" yet is visible in the windows task list. You'll see an entry with the ie logo and " - Microsoft Internet Explorer" in the task list if you alt-tab.
This regularly spits out adverts, including adverts for a casino. Close it by right clicking on the task bar icon and selecting close - you need to do this twice ?!?!
I've never had it as a result of using Scoobynet...
Nick.

Yeah, some of the retro emulator sites (you know, old video games and stuff) do this - very annoying indeed.
Becomes a bit of a game because as you close the window it spawns another. Can't believe suckers pay to advertise on those things!
