Default CDF Racing

Ok so I thought I would share my wonderful experience of this company in the hope that nobody else endures the same misery as I did.About a month before Xmas I went on the website of said outfit & I ordered & paid for a quick shift.Anyway a week goes by & I've heard or received diddly. So I send an email, wait a couple of days for a reply & hear nothing. So couple days later send another email.Nothing.So I try phoning.Tried about 4/5 times throughout the day & get no answer.Keep trying over next few days & eventually get an answer.Guy who answered (presumably cdf) tells me that he doesn't have any made & will be about another week. Thanks for letting me know?So I tell him I want a refund which he agrees to & a couple hours later there is a PayPal refund on its way.Now this can take a few days so peed off I just have to wait.Anyway few days later the refund has been cancelled by CDF😒.I open a dispute with pp & eventually (nearly a month) after placing the order I get my money back.No apology, explanation, kiss my a$$,nothing!!!

Same old story with CDF.

I actually got my parts, then realised they do not fit, sent them back for refund and he denied they ever received them even though I had signed proof etc etc.... Took me 3mths to get a refind..

Never seems to learn...

I thought they were a sort of high end quality in the tuning world,ok I only wanted a £70 gear lever but theirs looked to be one of the best available so I thought buying directly from the manufacturer would of been the best bet. They even seem to have a pretty good website.Very disappointing experience.
I did get one of their shifters in the end from somewhere else.

I had similar issues:

The parts work fine, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired...

I am a little bit shocked tbh.Didn't realise they have such a large fan club.I was half expecting to get lynched for dissing a well respected member of the Subaru tuning community.Makes me think that if the guy had a bit more respect for his customers he could of made alot more money through having a more successful company.Basic business sense really.Keep your customers happy?

Not 1 single item I have purchased from CDF has fitted correctly without some form or re-engineering or modification. I've lost count of the mistakes made and the number of parts I had to return too.

Once I had modified my car chassis to make the quick shirt fit and made the length entender section myself to make it more comfortable it worked just fine.

Not enough time put into the design IMO and not enough support.

I purchased a fuel rail kit from them. Sent top feed as they "assumed" that's what I wanted. I told them the year of car etc when I made the order. About 3 weeks later I got the right rails and they were a pile of pish. Didn't fit at all. Sent them back for a refund and bought a set of converted rails from AS. Customer service is as sh1te as their parts!
