Default CDF brake stopper. New design? Anyone else had one recently?

I've just had my brake stopper delivered (it's for a newage), but it's only got the main brace section, not the smaller bracket. See picture below. Cdf say this is the new design, even though the picture on the website has both parts.
Has anyone else ordered one recently? If so what did you get?

All that came in the packet...

Get someone to stand on your brake pedal while you put your hand on the master cylinder, the ridiculous amount of flex you see, this brace eliminates some of that. Does a shed load more good I think than braided lines does.

I've got braided lines already (and ebc pads). So this was the last upgrade before something more substantial. I think cdf have missed a bit from the kit, but I wondered if anyone else has had one recently.
This is what is on the website:

Sorry, I posted to answer the question about what they do not what should be in the kit so sorry, no idea.

I fabricated a wee rose jointed rod off the strut brace and it killed the flex completely.

The above kit is what I got from Tegiwa recently, for comparison.

That appears to have all the parts and is almost half the price...
It's taken almost a month to get here, and now the kit isn't complete. Why do cdf think it doesn't need the small bracket any more? Surely that just moves the pivot point back to the bolt that hold the boost solenoid, and gives the brake master cylinder more leverage against this unit? I've gone back to and asked for the rest of the bits to complete the kit.

Looks the same as what I got. Excuse the m8 nuts on the end, I have the proper bit on there now. The one I got was a little big, but luckily I'm local to Chris so he got me the other bit pretty quick.

I fitted one to my hawk and it made a real difference with braided lines too. Well worth the money.

BPR, did yours have two parts, or was it just one as per the one above?

So yours is a one piece as well...
Did you find it made a difference?

Mine was the pre-CDF version, the original Tewega version and it has 2 parts that brace the strutt tower.

That's what I was expecting when I ordered this. I'm just wondering how much effect that second smaller bracket has.

Screw it. I'm going to fit it as it is (as per Willow's Dad). I can't be bothered sending it back and then ordering another.

I used CDF once, and never again, what I bought did not fit at all and that was just auxiliary belts...

Funnily enough I have a Tegiwa brake stopper on order.

I will let you know how it fits and feels once it's on the car...

I've ditched the grommets on the bracket for the boost solenoid as they allowed some flex. Time will tell if this was a good idea or not.
But even on a quick trip around town I can really feel a difference.
I'd recommend it as a mod. Just not from cdf...

Careful.

Chris will be on saying he has neverecently had any complaints and has 100% happy customers!

They just aren't that great.... spacers that dont fit, fuel rails that leak and half of a bmcs!

Thanks for the pictures showing how it fits, I haven't done mine yet, was waiting to get braided hoses fitted first at service time and then get the stopper kit fitted after.

Fitted

There is a marked improvement in the brake feel, very happy with the result.

Simple and cheap upgrade to the car.

It's a great upgrade for the money and time needed to fit it.
If only all mods were this cheap and easy.
