Hello there,
I finally managed to access the scoobynet.bbs
hopefully my boss doesn't find out!(he's at lunch right now). After fixing a SS-DP into my baby MY00, I noticed some misfires when I lift my foot of the trottle (rolling). I have a SS exhaust system with standard (cat) midsection. Put standard blow-off valve in again after removing atmospheric (TSL) valve.
Do you guys have also misfires? Is this normal/Can it harm the engine? What should I do? Am I just paranoid? Thanks for your replies. Cheers! (I mean CHEESE)

PS: I don't mind misfires!!
PPS: Lot's of questions for my first post. I probably just waited to long.

Hi Swiss scooby,

Welcome aboard. The missfire is normal, my MY00 also fitted with exhaust and Blitz blow off valve does this. Its just a bit of unburnt fuel popping out the exhaust. Nothing to woorry about.

WREXY.

Swiss Scooby,

Pops are great. Try lifting off in 1st at 4000rpm + fantastic noise.

ChristianR,

You live in Jersey with a 40mph limit and buy an STi. You must be permantley breaking the speed limit. Top choice.

P.
