Default HI

Thought i would say hello.

Bought my first scooby recently.

Totally standard '02 Sedona Red (sounds better than maroon) WRX.

Always wanted one and decided to take the plunge for my work car. Have to say its suprisingly smooth with no mods so very tempted to keep it that way!

Cheers
Bobby

Thank you.
Ye not many, i wont be doin more than 5k miles a year. im getting about 200 miles to a tank, which works out ok for me financially. Only thing im worried about is the amount of damage small trips will do to the engine etc its done 77500 miles and mechanically very strong so hopefully i should be fine

Keep off the boost until the engine is well up to operating temperature.

Cheers

Ah, my mistake i wasnt very clear LOL the socket itself doesnt work. i read somewhere they are ~£40 from subaru. If a trader sells them cheaper on here, im always up for saving a few pennies (deep down im a Yorkshireman)

Cheers

There is a inline fuse, small piece of wire on the back of the socket which you can replace, most likely that's blown.

Welcome to the site
My Scooby is also a daily drive which takes me to work and back with a permanent smile on my face

This thread is pointless without pictures!!!

I do like a nice Bugeye in Sedona Red, especially with big, red callipers hiding behind gold or bronze multi-spoke wheels.

Welcome!

Thanks for all the info. I bought it for my daily drive to put a smile on my face going to and from the depressing work place. Its not failed yet!

I will give that fuse a check tomorrow too.

I do quite like the look of the gold wheels with this colour but not sure about any mods yet. I will get some pics up ASAP for you guys

Cheers

If someone has used the lighter socket to blow up the tyres with a portable compressor then possibly the fuseable link on the back of the socket has blown.

Lovely looking bug that is,like the colour a lot! Don't see many like that, gold or bronze wheels would look smart but still looks well with the silver
