Let me start by saying I don't need anyone's opinions on using a bee r.. so please.. If you don't want one, just don't buy one.. I'm not interested in "it's bad for this" etc
Now that's been said, for those who have any knowledge of fitting a bee r, your help would be greatly appreciated !
I'm helping a mate fit a beer to his v6 impreza (classic turbo 2000)
We have wired it as follows:
Power ( red) to ecu pin 9 (blue 136)
Yellow to rpm pin14 (gray plug b135)
Green split to pin 7 and pin 16 for ignition both with 1amp 800v diodes
Black to ground (grounded to chassis nr ecu)
Car revs normally to 3500rpm.. pops once.. then continues to rev..
We have yet to connect white to the handbrake..
Any ideas what's wrong?

We have also cut the grey wire for 4 cylinder applications
