Battery change procedure ? (99MY) with Sigma

Default Battery change procedure ? (99MY) with Sigma
Anything special / sequence to follow re the immobiliser when I replace the car battery ?


Will I have use the keypad in the glovebox to get the engine running again?


The Sigma immobiliser/alarm remote is the model that gets drowned out at the first signs of a Police transmitter so I'm assuming for different reasons that it doesn't like battery being disconnected either.


Call me paranoid.

no problems mate just swap over battery as normal. connect earth last and keep key fob handy in case it does go off.

Worked first time - only the momentary panic of the alarm beep when I disconnected the old and put on the new.


Should have had more faith !
