Looks like a plain STI ecu. I don't think it'd be wise sticking that on a UK classic. Infact it'd be stupid.

No its a prodrive ecu, out of a uk Impreza

This one sold on auction for nearly that so i don't see the problem, if he sells it for that hes a genius in my book

its way over priced, I paid £80 for mine. Might as well buy a second hand ecu with ECUtek and get map tweak

The ecu in the picture isn't what is in the description. It's from a Forester. Check the numbers. Someone on here bought it as advertised for an Impreza, and it wouldn't run, so it was returned. Back in April I think. It's been re listed three times at that price with no takers, so I guess the market says it's not worth that much.

The front bumper for a start, it looks like a Ford Granada.

Yes, the front bumper looks shyte.
However, if you read the item description the car comes supplied with the rear wing, STI front bumper and STI bonnet and scoop. Given the mileage, upgrades that don't sound too silly (and apparently mapped by the late, great JGM) and the spare parts that can either be put back on and sell the other bits, doesn't sound like that bad a buy to me.

Dyno graph is nearly 18 months old and it's still on the original plastic inlet hose which have a tendency to rip and leak.
Also running an HKS foam oiled filter which the MAF won't like much.
I suspect it should be a fairly decent car other than that but I'd check the inlet hose carefully and ask for a current dyno graph if buying that...

It would have had some excellent heat insulation with that bonnet.

The label on the one in the photo says A18-000-D3h. This is for a Forester. 99 Impreza should be A19-000D1X, which to be fair is what the description says. There was a long thread here about this ecu and seller, something fishy here I think, read it to the end....

Not totally sure it's for a Forester, but it's definitely not for a MY99-00 Impreza. There was a PPP for the Forester turbo S.
The problem with the eBay listing is that the ecu in the photos is not the one in the description.

I have another one at home from a MY00 impreza (grey plug) and that one ends in D3H, I don't think DIX is the only part number that is correct for the My99/00 but I could be wrong
