I have had many over the years and for me the best blend of price, wear, wet and dry grip and noise are uniroyal, almost any reasonable tyre will grip in the dry, its in the wet you need to be sure you have the best, and in my opinion the Uniroyals are the best at that

Bridgestone re070's are available in that size and are a decent tyre. Cheap at £75 each too

I just got a set of Bridgestone RE070's from Camskill fitted to my widetrack blobeye last week.

They're my second set and it was either them or the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas but i just stayed with the Bridgestones for now.

I find them unbelievably good in the dry, ok in the wet, but lets just say very 'interesting' on a greasy road lol.

Camskill are hard to beat for prices too

I bought these in the figment that the op wants and they are amazing for the money. I got them from camskill for just over £70 a corner earlier in the year.

Vredestein have just brought out a new design so the Sessantas have dropped in price.

Couldn't agree more. I have RE070s on my Hawkeye Spec D and although superb in the dry, on greasy single track roads around where i live it can be more than interesting at times.
