Default PIAA Wipers

Thought I'd replace my PIAA wipers ready for winter. They've been on the car for many years and still do a decent job. Never had better. Thumbs for these and well worth the money.

I had a set 7 years. They pay for themselves in the end.

So expensive, but so worth it.

In a country the wonderful climate that we have, most important things to improve and make perfect on a car - Headlights (just get Xenons and stop living in the dark ages), wipers, brakes and tyres. The rest comes afterwards.

Just get xenons?

You need to swap the car, surely?

Or are we talking aftermarket?

BTW: Bosch on mine, easily as good, last for ages, half the price.

£45 for a pair of PIAA wiper blades? Doesn't seem that bad to me?

Why would you need to swap the car?

JDM xenon headlight clusters would work best, but a xenon bulb kit, if a good one and properly aligned work very too. There is the grey area of not having adjusters in the cars for heavy loads, come MOT time, but I have never had a problem with this when I ran bulb kits.

My guess was a little out, bought and fitted July 2007. Still doing the business though.

Not all models can use the JDM lights, some were never specced with HID, even in Japan.

And classics and Bugeyes use an H4 bulb which works about as well as a chocolate teapot in HID

I see your point, yes Classics cant have xenon factory options...but all newage can benefit from the upgrade. Bugeyes did have a xenon option I am led to believe?

YEah the H4 candle! the xenon upgrade aftermarket kits are deffinitely worth a look, no where near OEM xenon but far better than the candles!

You can't have tried the PIAA ones if you think Bosch is just as good.. (not being drawn in!!)
Had bosch, removed them and put PIAA the difference is night and day..that's on classic and newage..

Get them from Camskill.

What he said - 'cept mines a blobeye. (Oh, and is it really possible to drive safely on motorways in torrential rain at night without Bosch wipers turned on? Not with mine it wasn't! Are Bosches as quiet as PIAAs? Mine weren't.)
