Post Classic WRX rear wiper arm removal.

How in the blue hell do I get the actual wiper arm off?

I need the rear screen replacing/re-sealing, so want it removed before getting a windscreen fitter out.

Any advice?

When I did mine, you lift the flap covering the nut at the pivot point, unscrew the nut and lift the arm to 90 deg from the screen. This should remove any pressure and allow it to free up. if not, the windscreen fitter has a tool to pull it off safely.

Then it all unscrews from the outside, and the motor unbolts from the inside, allowing you to pull it free.

I'm probably not being forcefull enough. I know for a fact I've had the wiper arm off before.

Cheers, Jeff.

Why would I do that, John? I already have a spare rear screen here, mate.
