2 door Escorts are absolutely rediculous now.. I come from the Classic Ford scene (have a Capri and a mk1 Fiesta), these 'cheaper' classic Fords are now going up in value, purely because people looking at buying an old Ford just cant afford to spend a years wages on an Escort..

Yea when I passed my test I wanted a mk1 escort but never got round to getting one big mistake looking at prices now , so not making same mistake again all ways wanted a classic Scooby and wasn't waiting any longs and I've just got my first classic and omg what a car love it to bits already and only had it two weeks :-)

I had two mk1 escorts when I was younger. Always loved them from when I was a kid. I honestly believe the mk1 to be one of the best looking cars ever, I would get another but as you say the money people ask is silly. It would still be one of the first cars I'd buy if I won the lottery though. Love the mk2 rs2000 as well
