At the moment I have a series 2 Escort RS Turbo but the itch for another Impreza has started agian so think its time to let the RS go and have an Impreza as my weekend car.



















Hope you all like it, The car has been my pride and joy but I have been too scared to use it incase anything happened to it & only done 20 miles or so since its MOT.

 

Keep the escort,only going to go up in value ....

 

I've always loved these and that's a cracking colour

Only thing is I dont use it in fear of it breaking down

It is virtually standard appart from full scorpion exhaust & a silicone top boost hose.

Still even has the old ford radio fitted

 

Nice car, they do look rather dated these days though, I used to love them back in the day, not much of a drivers car though really, used to take great delight in racing one local to me in my Audi GT and my girlfriends Sabb Turbo which was a gorgeous car at the time, I'd always out brake him and go around the roundabouts faster, then watch as he came back at me on the straights around our ring road, Escorts were very quick in a straight line back then.

P.S; No point in owning it if you're not going to give it some beans, it's what they were about.

 

Now that's an iconic car . I think you'll regret selling it.

I dont think I will regret selling it. I have a company car & work 7 days a week normally, When I do get a day off I wont use it incase anything happens to it.

It is solid underneath & the engine bay ares where they usually rot as well is still fine.

Just want an impreza so I can use that when I do get a day off.

 

what would you value the car at.

 

I have seen rusty examples needing a full restoration go for 5k, But Im a realist & would say 4500 in this condition

It is lovely, and sad that it will always play second fiddle to the MK1

 

Miles are 114000 Loads of history, 2 Keys with remotes, Hpi Clear

 

If we were to go back thirty years, we'd all laugh and tell him to sell that "sh!tbox" Now we all admire a well looked after "classic", looks mint for its age!

 

Haha know that, makes me wonder what type of model scoobies we would look at in 30 years from now and see it as a legend.

Loved my s2 turbo s I had 3 but once I got an impreza I didn't look back!!

 

Looks nice.

Although I have to say, this was the worst ever "performance" car I owned in my life.

 

Lovely looking car .....however it's got a '90 spec rear spoiler.
