Peugeot 208 GTI
Just read about it in AutoExpress.
204BHP. Smaller and lighter than the **** 207.
Looks like Peugeot might just have found it's Mojo again.
Might be looking for a Hot hatch again back end of this year. This has now entered the list.

Can't be doing with anything peugot, renault, citroen these days.Used to like them years ago. Can't see the mojo coming back however much bhp they shove in
Might just be the fact when you open them the indicators flash a gazillion times.Seems cheap and nasty like the cars
Just imo

Well anything is an improvement on the 206/207 tbh, though the 207 wasnt that bad, im just hoping that Peugeot can get it right, just like Citroen seem to have.

The most fun car I owned was a 106gti.
Much has been said about Peugeot making the new GTI as good as the old ones used to be. If the do, then great.
Audi S1 is still top of my list though.

To be fair Andy you only ended up having to fix it as it was quite old by the time you got it (not a dig btw). The 205s were actually built pretty well, but in my experience modern French stuff is just not as well put together and they seem to suffer a fair few elctrical issues too.

20 years old when I bought it in 2008. 80s French cars suffered with electrics mainly. Mine needed a few sorting like wiring, alternator, battery etc bit as you say plenty of 20 year old cars need work (unless you buy an old Merc!). The more modern ones suffered build quality issues. Saying that, I owned recently a 406 for a couple of months and it was faultless. Sold the 205 for a 106 1.1 which I had for nearly a year (was written off with my then 37 week pregnant mrs in it). That only ever needed a new downpipe (rusted off) and backbox (same reason). That was a 98 car and ultra reliable but not a performance variant.
