Audi B6 S4 Cabriolet 2005
Does anyone know much about these. I know FSH is essential and i heard there is a monster service at 80k. I hear the V8 is pretty bullet proof, but Audi's dont seem to fair well on the reliability stakes. Any help and sensible views would help.

No FSI or DRC to worry about on that model. Being 2005 you'll have cheaper road tax too, unless that gets changed.
They are fine cars, and if you're more bothered about stability than getting the **** out on every roundabout, a great choice. And before anyone goes on about wooden steering feel compared to a BMW, well they are hardly feelsome either. V8 sounds lovely, and to most people it matters not a jot if it is hung over beyond the front axle. In the wet and snow you'll be laughing.
I'd go for an automatic.
