WRX PPP V Focus ST
Any ideas on this one folks. I used to own a WRX with PPP fitted, i have just bought a Focus ST and people have been asking me how they compare. Its 18 month since i owned the Scooby (I took time out with a Land Rover ). The Scooby seemed to be quicker off the line but once moving this St seems as quick if not quicker I didnt buy the ST just for speed, so to be honnest i am not bothered either way, just curious i guess.
Also guy from Ford says that if you go to a Volvo dealer they can simply remap the ST to give the full 275BHP that the Volvo car has. Is he correct or talking poo????

theboy, the DS unit simply plugs into the OBD port to load the map on in 4 minutes, and it can be taken off just as quickly.
Some remaps can be discovered even when removed, but the DS can't. Get one asap, you won't regret it one bit. I see you are on the STOC now, so just keep an eye out for a second hand unit, I paid £340 for mine with 4 lives left (unit comes with 5 lives, and uses a life up when it moves to a new ST).
