Cars that do not merit the title 'Sport'
Range Rover 'sport' for a start.Skoda Fabia 'sport' (its a 1.2)
Amazes me how many cars carry this tag. They aren't fast and they aren't sporty. Why call them sport. They aren't sportscars. They aren't sporty
Any more ? (apologies, just a pet hate of mine )

VW Passat Sport: I had an older model 110bhp TDi Sport. Apart from the rock hard seats for lardy German ar$es, it was anything but sporty
Also Jag did an XJ Sport: I think it was just a tarted up base model, certainly nothing like the supercharged XJR you could buy for more money.

I think the thread is the wrong way round.
Is there ANY car with the word "sport" in it that merits the term?
Any car with sport in the name tells the 2 things
1 - the car is NOT sporty
2 - the suspension is rock hard and this means "sport" to stupid people.

This was called the Sunbeam (Imp) Sport with twin Stromberg 125 carbs and plumbed in manifold, high-lift camshaft, strengthened pistons, re-designed big valve head, sports exhaust, an oil cooler, vented bonnet and I think servo-assisted brakes (still rubbish drums all round though). Power went up from the standard model's 42bhp @ 5000rpm to 55bhp @ 6100rpm (= 31% power increase).
So not exactly a sports car classic, but a worthy mechanical improvement over the base model and not just a marketing-orientated "Sports" name. It was also the basis of a successful competition car in rallying and saloon car racing.

There are exceptions, clearly Renaultsport is the hot versions of their range, as opposed to most manufacturers where "sport" is the monikor for their cars that have the worst ride quality going.
