Default Audi S3 Sportback

Just checked one out, great piece of kit!
The version that was on show was really well equipped, and it was really STEALTHY in black.....

Tried the coupé version of the S3 last year and it was quite rocking, but the word is that the Sportback is a wee bit more balanced.

Except the S3 is a hatchback

A Coupe S3 could be classed as the TTS - Which has just come out.

I like it because it is stealthy (like the new S3 is anyway), and it is slightly more practical.

The one in question is black and it looks really cool.

I like the buckets quite a lot but felt for everyday use they could be a bit of a pain to get in and out of.
The std seats are quite good, but of course will never be as supportive as the buckets........

The buckets are annoying to get into the back of the car - as they dont slide forward properly, but other than that I dont regret getting them one bit.
No problem getting in and out of them one bit.

thats a nice s3 man, i love the recaro's however there a little to snug for just cruise driving.

i think the slightly extra weight on the sportback, has done wonders to the car, before they can feel a little too light somtimes.

Yes I'm very happy with it, Its a different experience to the Scoob, Does not feel as raw, does not instantly grab like a Scoob does with the power and the noise, it sort of grows on you. feels more grown up and more refined, (which was the thing I was after !)
Its happy pootling around town at 30 mph in 6th, or bouncing it off the redline across country roads !
Lot better cabin feel than a Scoob, none of the worry about leaving it parked, love the heated seats as they can almost bake you !
I can get 30 mpg on the daily run to work, more if use the cruise on a motorway run, It less on road tax and insurance for me.

How would I improve on it, well I miss the noise from the Scoob (at times) and a bit more rear suspension travel would be good !
Performance wise, well the 06 plate STI driver last night could not work out why he could not lose me on either the straights or the bends - lol at him when I over took him - and thats without next weeks remap !

Sounds good!

The interior was like being in a RR after spending so much time in my WRX!

Love mine too, normally change my car every year but can't honestly fault it....well occasionally I 'd like another set of doors so maybe a sportback would be the answer
