Richard,

Can't be specific but Frank Sytner specialises in this type of car, try their website at www.sytner.co.uk

Happy shopping

Not much but found this.

Are you sure it is a E30 not a E21?

The E30 version I thought was the B6 2.8 http://www.supercars.net/cars/1985@$...0B6%202.8.html

Wasn't the C1 the Alpina modified E30 M3? Have to admit I thought Alpina bored it out to 2.5 (before BMW did for the evo3) but it could have been an early one??

Talking

Found it!!!

Oh dear

"Alpina offered the C1 almost immediately, with a longer camshaft, blueprinted engine and stiffer suspension - it is seen as the closest Alpina has ever come to making a lemon (contemporary road tests didn't quite go into cataplexy over it and merely said it was a very good car). On the other hand, the C1 set the Alpina style in use today, with wide, elegantly spoked wheels, a pert rear spoiler and no silly (ahem, AMG-type) skirts. It did sport a massive great cowcatcher spoiler and was available with the distinctive 'Deko-set', the trademark side stripes which, being the 1980s, also included the front spoiler.

Alpina C1. Not so much a racing car, more a status symbol for the 1980s stockbroker with a heroic intake of nose candy and enough independent thought not to buy a Porsche..."
