Smile vr4 galant

I want to sell my impreza (uk 98 turbo) and buy a vr4 galant, I need a bit more room but don't want to lose too much performance. Anybody know of such a car, preferably manual? Mick.

Get a Legnum VR4, personally i think they look much slicker and from personal experience are a dream to drive.

Interior is a little tacky though. Reminds me of them old Toyota Carina taxis with a cheap walnut effect on the dash and rubbish seats but of course that can all change by replacing the seats and adding minor cosmetics to the dash

Smile vr4 or b4rsk

I've seen a couple of b4 rsk's on Pistonheads,if I could get one of them to take my impreza in part exchange I like the look of them and the vr4's. If I wait to sell mine first I'll miss them. Mick.

All I can say is don't buy one without driving it. I was looking to get one, drove it and was more than a little underwhelmed by both the performance, the tiptronic gearbox (sluggish to respond) and the handling (which felt like a poor chassis saved by AYC). Throw in the running costs, I wasn't impressed and decided the Impreza was a much better option. However, a lot of people seem to have had good experiences with the cars, which leads me to suspect that there are some good uns and some not so good uns out there. Therefore drive it before you buy to make sure you get a good un!
