its not a rs8, its just a r8 with a v10 engine.
Just shows you how audi pushes their cars so much harder in development than any other manufacturer that the car caught fire from the abuse.
Us consumers will all benefit!

why would they be testing a million pound prototype for a car that already in production??????
it IS a prototype rs8 wich uses the 6.0 w12 unit with biturbos and 600+bhp.

This moron talks about him knowing stuff about audi's, when he calls a more powerful version of the R8, RS8.
Look here matey if there ever is to be a RS8 it will look like something along the lines of this:
Goddamn some people are stupid. How can the R8 be called the RS8 when there is already a A8 and and S8
And how do you know that the prototype is worth a million dollars and that its a bi-turbo V10 with 600hp. Let me tell you here and now that the audi boss has already stated that they have no such plans to release a 600hp R8, as it would demolish the Gallardo.
What your looking at is a 480-530hp R8.

Im not sure what they will call the upper modelsof the R8 (420bhp) but it may be a while as ive just seen the test photos below. Audi pushed the car so hard it caught fire
