Default What are CTR's like on fuel?

I know they're not going to be diesel-like, but is expecting 28-30 mpg (average driving) unreasonable?

That's not unreasonable. I averaged 28mpg over about 8k miles with a best tank of 39mpg (55/60mph on European motorways) to 19mpg (Nurburgring!). Considerably better than a WRX anyway...

I've averaged 31mpg for the 20 months and 18k miles I've done in mine.

I Average about 23 on the daily commute (lots of traffic)

Get about 30 on long motorway runs which i normally do in the dead of night so not exactly at 56mph

I would say i'm an enthusiastic driver , and like to make sure i exercise the vtec regulary

Cheers fellas, about what I was expecting. Like someone said, when you're used to 20-21 mpg, 28-30 is fantastic.

I used to own a Corsa SRi 1.8 and only got 26mpg, so with a 2 litre that you have to rev the **** off to get any form of performance, I'd say you'd be doing well to get about 23-24.

That said - it depends on driving style I suppose, I only get about 19mpg in my WRX
