Default Non GTR Skylines

Now I am not thinking of getting one (so my wife says) but has anybody had any experience of the other versions like the GTS-T, for 5 grand or less you can get a really nice looking R32 which look really mean in black.

Are they any good ?

For that money you can get a nice R33 GTS-T which are much nicer than the 32's (IMHO) and they have the RB25 motor as opposed to the RB20 so should be a lot quicker.

I keep considering one but reckon that I'd spend all my time regretting that it wasn't a GTR

Its not that pointless, I kind of like the idea its just RWD, they are I beleive tunable and what about 250 bhp for the R33, cos the GTR is such a monster an otherwise fast car gets completely overshadowed.

RB25's make good power and are tuneable, just not as tuneable as the RB26. An R33 would be a good buy.

I also like the idea of the 4 door R34 saloon GTS-T or a Stagea estate.

Very rare, but there's also the R32 GTS4, which has all the ATESSA trickery, still only the 2ltr though.... Much cheaper than the GTR, but with most of the advantages.

As everyone else says, the R33s 2.5 is a better lump, even though I also prefer the looks of the earlier ones.

Edited to add as I don't mean how many of the one in the pic as its the only one in the World but are StageA available in the UK (autotrader = computer says no)
The one in the top pic is the 260RS which is tuned by Autech from the factory. I believe they are extremely rare even in Japan, and there are less than 5 in the UK. We got one in the garage the other day... bloody lovely car, and would have one over a Skyline.

They did do another version called the 25RS, which had the 2.5 litre single turbo out of the R33 GTS-t. There was one on Autotrader the other day, but I don't know if it's still there.

Wouldn't say that owning a GTS is like owning a Scoob sport though. The reason for this is that if it's a single turbo GTS and not a non turbo GTS... they are easily tunable to 350BHP with stage 2 modifications... and we had one in a while ago which was tuned to I believe in the region of 500BHP.

Go for it mate, you won't regret it.
