30k 03 plate MGZR 160.
Build quality is awful. In the summer when we had our heat wave the glue on the door cards melted. Pieces of trim fall off indiscriminately.
Driving position is woeful, irrespective of the next to useless adjustments. The levers often come off in your hand, by the way.
The interior is cheap and tacky.
The 17s feel heavy footed and damper control is poor.
The 'box is slightly wishy washy although the ratios are nicely spaced, except on the motorway.....I've done 5k in 2 months .
The 160bhp K series is half decent and I've not suffered HGF yet.
The image is diabolical.
Apart from that I've really enjoyed owning the car.
PM me if you'd like to buy it.

Is he a copper now? I hope you told them I was a jobless drug addict on the streets of London, I think that's what they both expected
Gutted I missed it, your mum rang to let me know, but I never know where I'm going to be week to week and I ended up away on business. Funny enough (so to speak) I ended up down on the following monday cos my gran died
Did Richie Coe make it?

Yeah I'm in London all this week. If you can make it central, come and check out the new office in Clerkenwell, maybe grab some dinner, some really truly amazing restaurants around there. I'll PM you my details.

I had the 200vi, which was the top spec 200 before the ZRs were released. It was quite fun as it was fairly light (about 1080kg if I remember) but that K series engine is bag of molten crap. I went through 4 engines in 60k miles.
Still have fond memories of the car though because it was quite chuckable but no match for the likes of the 106 GTI and Saxo VTS which were the nearest rivals at the time..

Yep, it was like Austin Powers bedroom inside I thought !
Loved the silver trim against the green, as for the Orange mouth, Aston Martin have nicked that look for their racers.
No odder that that new Mini Works GT though

i had 1 when they first came out (it was me at well lane RR back in 2001) - problems in the 5k miles i had it - sideskirts fell off (1 screw in end and double sided tape to hold them on), rattles, creaks, paint chips too easy (trophy blue does anyway)
Not too bad a car tbh but not exactly quick, needs revving but i suppose most "hot hatches" do
If you want something quick for similar money, cheaper to insure, better mpg then look at the Clio 172
