Default Pug 205 - Fuel gauge problem

I bought a 205 recently - great cheap to run car but the fuel gauge is all over the place so i dont really have a clue how much fuel is in. Its a bit of a pain to be honest.

Are they all like this?

No mine is pretty good. Like all guages they go down quickly once you get to half, but other than that no problem.

Saying that the only other time it goes strange is when being ragged to death on track. Anything under half full and the fuel will surge with the guage plummenting to zero.

All the 205's i've had have had dodgy gauges that alternate between a 1/4 full and empty depending which corner you go round

On track, they're always at zero so you have to pull into the pits every now and then to check the level
