Joined the Scoobynet 205 apprecation society...
Afternoon all
It all started off innocently enough, I was looking for a cheap runner for the winter to take the Beemer off the road. Thinking Mondeo diesel or summit similar and sensible.
So it follows that instead I go and buy this...

Despite the miles it drives really well and doesn't half bring back some memories
I can't believe how standard it is, right down to the original stereo! It's by no means perfect but it should keep a smile on my face over the winter. May have to do a track day or road rally in it just for old times sake....

I thought I saw that advert a while back - looks minted!!!
A trackday is a must for the pug.
17th September is the next hot hatch trackday at Knockhill. Mine is a metalic grey 205 1.6 GTI (so the badge says anyway...........) Might se you there!!

Oh the memories. What a fantastic car that was. I had my one for about 3 years and had so much fun in it. Sublime handling, and with a decent exhaust on it, it sounded great.
