Default R32 £2K over list at a main dealers

Been to look at a R32 with DSG gearbox at Listers Worcester. The dealer bought and registered the car before xmas and now that there is a waiting list for DSK r32's has put it on sale at £32K - 2K over list price.

I think this is dodgy by a main dealer, it is something you would expect from e-bay-or am I wrong??

Unfortunately this is perfectly legal as the car has been registered.
Main dealers cannot sell a new car over retail price but once registered the sky's the limit.

Definately £32K for a Golf - sorry that's just sill money ! Nothing wrong with the Golf but think any more than £22K for a new Golf is too expensive !

As said lots of Porsches available for that money or S4 / RS4 Audi, M5 ????

Nice cars, but not that quick. Was driving up the A1 last week, when a Silver new R32 attached itself to my rear bumper. 2 Cap wearing yoofs inside !!!

Car ahead of me pulls out of the way, so I floor it. Cap wearing yoofs were left standing !! They were trying, as they came shooting up behind me again when I slwed down for traffic.

When there i did test drive an new Audi RS4 in the adjacent dealership, sublime.....

Taking an extended test drive on Tuesday, with a possible delivery date for an Avant late in the year. £20K more than a similarly specced R32 and worth every penny.

Will let you know... (i'm like a big kid right now, I think the wife is a little worried about the Medical experiments I have booked for her though)

I think its the sort of thing you would expect main dealers NOT to do
