Do you mean behind the rear seat? If you do there is no way I'd put my kids there!! That's designed to be a crumple zone in a rear end collision, so make out what's going to happen!!

I'd say it should be ok, provided ya not hit by a 16 wheeler whilst standing, but then again, what car would withstand that anyway. Im sure Volvo wouldnt put seats there, knowing people or kids would get squished. I've had two T5 estates, and there built superbly. Put your kids friends in the very back, just in case

OR! Do you mean the back seat with the booster in the middle???? I found the seatbelts to be VERY short on then, IF your putting baby seats in them that is

We had it with the integrated booster and it was fine for our 3 little lads, we had the rear facing seats as well and they are ok but only for occasional/emergency use, sold it and bought a Sharan 7 seater, still miss that Volvo !

Sorry guys ,yeah i just mean the rear seat !! not the optional 6/7 rear facing effort.
Liddo ,will be two kids seats and the older brat on the centre booster, didn't know volvo's suffered with short rear belts luckily neither of the kids seats need the full length.

I seem to remember we had a car seat either side, bit of a snug fit but it worked, the booster sort of concertinas a little bit so you can get your hands in to do the belts for the car seats.

There is an age / weight limit to the centre boost, but the other two will be WELL jealous, as the middle one will be WELL above the other two, and can see EVERYWHERE
