It's a conversion.
I think several companies did the estate/shooting brake conversion. Lynx being the most well known.
Many of the companies actually started out doing XJS convertible conversions at the time when Jaguar refused to make one (pre 1984 IIRC ) due to them being scared that the USA (biggest market) would ban them.
There also converted XJ40s to shooting brakes and SII/SIII XJ6/XJ12s and XJ40s to cabriolets too.

I'd rather have one of these though

Wonder if I'd get the bike in the back

I saw that Ferrari 456 Shooting Brake at the Coys Historic Festival a few years back, sitting next to a transporter in the Silverstone Paddock. In fact, that photo with the F50 is the same as one I took at the time. Fantastic car, and the F50 would be nice for a weekend car too.

Arab people order a ot of these conversions.
Auto express a few years back showed several estate Ferraris.
I clocked an unusual car near Swiss Cottage one day.
Bently Continental Estate. Must of belonged to someone at the Jack Barclay dealership in Mayfair as the number plates had Jack Barclay on it and the actual plate was JB3
