Handing Back C/Car What would you buy
Ok.
Long story but I currently have a Jaguar X-Type 2.5 SE Estate as a company car.
The thing does about 17mpg and quite frankly I want to ditch it.
The cost new of this car with its extras is just over £30k so is hurting me tax wise too.
What to get ?
I alreasy have another car, GOLF GTI (200) and dont want to park that on the street while at work. So am setting myself a budget of £4500
The car i buy will only do about 100 miles a week and dosent need to be sporty.
Having had a look around i can only come up with one car and thats
a Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec. What are your thoughts.
I was thinking of another Golf but for £4500 you dont seem to be buying much
Can i have some Ideas ?

The Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec rocks, I know because we have a 3 door in black. It's got the climate pack with the heated front screen and aircon which is
It's a lovely car to drive, handles really well and is quite nippy. It also qualifies for lower tax due to low emissions The driving position is great, it's really high and the seat is adjustable for even greater heights, the steering wheel adjusts up and down and backwards and forwards too. The boot space is vast and there's plenty of room for passengers. I love it, it's one of the nicest - if not the nicest - car I've ever driven

Yeah, what she^ says!
It's not the quickest car in the world but it's OK, overtaking doesn't seem to be a problem, given a clear bit of road you can wind it up quite nicely and motorways are a breeze!
The heated front screen is awesome, no more de icer for us
I've also found it really easy to wash! It's all flat and there's no hidden bits or owt so you don't miss any of it! I'm easily pleased
Have a drive of one, I think you'll be surprised by it
