which car would you choose to own and why.i fancy the rs2 but scared it would get stolen quickly.the alpina b10 is supposed to murder m3s or what about the merc 190 cosworth in evo 1 or 2 form.looking for something fast and different but cant decide.any opinions appreciated.all above can be sourced second hand and left hand drive and have roughly same price and power.

To be honest with you i would be happy with either...???

I have always liked my BMW's so would have to be swayed towards the B10, but then again the RS2 and Merc are nice cars....

Thats a hard one...

How much do these cars go for then...in say average condition...???

WHich B10 are you talking about? The Bi-Turbo? If its that then go for it, no contest. Its faster than the E39 V8 M5!

they can be had for £15-£20 grand.yes the bi turbo is an option.

The RS2 because it's a classic, and shouldn't depreciate much, if at all. Good luck in finding one... there aren't many RHD examples available.

I had two 190 cosworths, both a 2.3-16 and a 2.5-16. Both were excellent cars in their day and have lovely balance an poise, but, to be honest, they feel a bit slow and dated now. The Evo models didn't have that much more power so will no doubt feel the same. They should hold their value though.

The father-in-law had a bi-turbo B10, which I used now and again, and I thought it was sublime......can't vouch for the others, haven't driven 'em unfortunately.

I'd go for the Alpina, they are superb cars, used to have a B3 3.3, was a craker, better to drive albeit not as quick as my C32 AMG, I'd have another Alpina in a heartbeat if the right one came along at the right price.
