Default Clio 172 vs 182

I can save alot of money buying a 172 instead of nearly new or new 182 - is there a big difference ? The extra money will be a struggle but can be done - what are the main differences (apart from the obvious power difference) ?

Depreciation will be alot worse on the 172. Both will depreciate rapidly though. The model is coming to an end and soon they will release a new model/look. You could get a very good deal on a 172. I spoke to renault garage in brum and they were willing to deduct 2-2.5k off the rrp just before the 182 came out!

have the best of both worlds - get a 172 cup cheap. As quick as 182 cup in straight line (as lighter) and came with cup pack.

Probably the odd one kicking about, but yes the 182 has replaced the 172

Smile get a 172 cup

then with the 4 thosend you will save can go performance parts then kick the *** of a 182 anyway. for arguments sake buy a decent 172 cup for about 8-9-grand and put 700 quid into a good exhaust and ind kit and theres your 182 bhp already
