hmmmm,they all say 620bhp max,but a guy in another bbs says he has a 1000bhp beasty
using google all you find are theories,the gearbox being the limiting factor,so maybe its bull****

There's a chap I know has a 770bhp RS6 on order (year late for some reason) to replace his 460bhp RS4. Had a go against his RS4 at our local trackday - he beat me off the line but didn't really pull away much from my STi3 - don't think I'll try against his new car though

Seen some vid action of the 600 odd ones, and they're plenty fast enough, there does come a point when you're jsut putting more strain on everything IMO.
1000bhp car is squeezing every bit of potential from the engine, it surely won't be very reliable at that level. And probably just wheel spin everywhere!
