Thumbs up

Great car and a better bet than the V8 IMHO - lighter lump up front and a better steering setup.

Make sure that the service history is buttoned down to the very last detail and if you can take advantage of an extended warranty, I would.

One little idiosyncrasy that might give you cause for concern is their thirst for oil - they can glug a litre in 500 miles under certain conditions. Nothing to worry about, it's a feature of the engines. Something to do with the scraper rings they use.

Cheers
Kav

Gearboxes are a bit agricultural typical BMW,throttle bodies can fail, but otherwise a nice bit of kit,V8 is the one ,but obviously a bit more expensive.

Cheers guys!

They seem very rare, are they?

PS Apart from ebay and autotrader, could anyone point me in the right direction to buy one?
