After much pondering and numerous test drives I have gone and brought myself a M5 this morning!

The RS4 was good and I believe it will hold it's money better, but It is an estate and it was the most involving drive!!

I drove one Alpina B10 V8 and IMO thought the M5 was miles better, and I also wanted a manual gearbox!

I couldn't source a Holden and I couldn't afford a new shape E55 AMG!

I post some pictures when it gets delivered next week!

nice choice- I still fancy one of these when I have the cash or they depreciate some more.
I saw one being driven (slowly cos it was sideways most of the time) round the Nurburgring by a lunatic with 4 passengers. After that I was hooked.

No- I've only ever seen the taxi in White with Sabine driving it and she is not slow(!!!!) or even that sideways. This was a blue brit car with the driver laughing like a lunatic while his white faced passengers looked as if they would puke.

I overtook him as he exited the Karrusel (? not sure about the spelling) sideways! I gave a little wave and carried on serenely in a straight line. This guy was not trying to race as he would have been easily able to beat me (I was in a 150BHP TT rented from Koln airport). He just wanted to go sideways!
