Porsche GT3 RS - Oh yes!!!
Been doing some filming for Sytner Group, we filmed at Porsche Silverstone this week. They had a GT3 Rs in the showroom an it was just amazing to look at. They had lined a customer up to be filmed. He turned up in one.
Not wanting to waste a perfectly good opportunity we did some filming of this beast on the road from a convertable BM 3 series, usual stuff, him overtaking, etc.
The GT3 took off like nothing i have ever seen, when we played back the tape all you could hear was the crew LT(heir)FA'sO!
Sent the cameraman out with a DV cam to get some in car footage, it is just incredible, it is like watching it in fast forward!
The owner was a real nice chap, really into his car and more than happy to talk to us about it, real decent, unprotencious(sp?) and a complete petrolhead. Boy could he drive!
The GT3 RS made the other Porsches at the dealership look quite ordinary by comparison and that is saying something.
Bloody great day out and i got paid for doing it!
It is one of the most special cars i have ever seen, it took some of its styling cues from the 70's RS's, stripe down the side, etc. Oh and ths sound, just fecking owesome!

Fantastic!
Weather permitting I will be getting taken around the Nurburgring in a GT3 April18th. I know its not a RS but whatever, they are amazing cars!
A car truly worthy of the RS badge.

Had a good look at one of these at the Autosport show at the NEC recently. It was jaw-droppingly gorgeous. IMHO it's the best looking Porsche since the 993 Turbo, and certainly captures the spirit of the original RSRs from the 70s.
Sadly none of my immediate friends own one, so I'm considering writing to Jimmy Saville to see if I can get a drive in one...

Yes it is Dave, real nice guy. He took time out of a busy schedule to do the filming and we got some really great footage of him and his car.

Nice one.
His GT3 RS I think was the first one to arrive in the UK!
In the week he got it, he immediately lent it to his buddies at EVO Magazine for a quick
spin round Silverstone. As soon as I saw the number plate DWC I knew it had to be his.

...clearly doesn't apply to GT2 owners.

The bloke at my work picked up his GT3 RS last week, he took me out for a spin and even though he was running it in it still went like stink.
I'll try and take some pics of the interior during the week, the passenger footwell has a fire extinguisher bolted to the floor, full roll cage in the back, and hardly any electrics.
Looks beatifull though
