Nice car just a pity about the black wheels Although you won`t have to clean the brake dust off them as often.
Not a fan of black wheels, the wifes steel wheels on her Rover 214 are that colour

Dom,
You coulda cleaned the car first! LOL They look good mate. I like black/anthracite wheels on dark cars. Makes them look meaner. Just need to get the rest of the beast looking as shiny!

I no it does look like it but it has got the legally darkest tints on all side and rear windows!!!!
On a dark rainy night with no street lights you can see a thing out of the front side windows
Dom.

Looks tough as fuch mate. I've got black wheels on my car [not really M5 standard though] and think they make a big improvement if going for the mean/lean/clean sleeper-ish look.

Cheers for the mixed coments!
To be honest I didn't want black wheels, the colour was very dark Antracite which I guess could be black!!!
The new P Zero Rosso's aren't doing so well, lot's of tramlining especially under heavy braking...this could be do to fitting slightly wider rears.......went for a 285/30-18!!!
Oh well!!

I saw Doms car in his workshop yesterday and the wheels look the dogs if you ask me!!!!
Im going for a grey tone on my wheels but in the flesh those black ones transform the car.
Nice one Dom

Cheers Harj,
I reckon a pretty dark grey would be spot on..I'm have the 'big service' done on Monday which includes a full valet so I'll take some nice clean pictures!
The P Zero's are coming good at last, the tramlining has dissappeared with the help of 36psi in the fronts and the rears are gripping better than my Scooby!!!
Cheers Dom

Dom ive just dropped my new spare set of wheels off (Thanks) and they took the paint code from the car and said they will match the wheels, also getting them glazed and plenty of laquer so they shine nicely too
Went and got some 295's for the rear today P Zero's so a little mod on the rear and they will fit fine I hope.
Gonna wait to see how the rear handles and then im gonna put 275's on the front
Can't wait till next Sat

Harj,
295's are to big....they will ruin the ride and give you a lot of tramlining, also they will rub!!!
IMHO iI would stay with the original widths and just lower the profile as a wider tyre does seem to upset the balance!!!

The problem isn't hitting the inner arch, I've been led to believe that squeezing wider tyres on the standard rims cause the tyres to push their middle out so cause the car to be unstable what ever the air pressures. Aprantley 285 is the widest for the rears...!
I collected mine from the dealer and they upgraded the software that runs the TV/sat nav/etc and it is a vast improvement, looks better and runs faster....FOC as well!!
The car has had the full valet so pictures tomorrow.
