Has anyone heard of Dr. Plamer's new £50K Palmer Jaguar JP1 RS?
Apparently it looks like a single seater but seats two. It uses the Cosworth 3.0-litre V6 engine and delivers 277bhp with 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, top speed of 168 mph and is an open top

I've seen it on TV with Justin Wilson driving it, think it was an F1 previw prog but might be wrong. Looked pretty useful with hime behind the wheel as you would expect.

Faster round the Autodrome than the Radical SR3 (250hp jobbie) but then you'd expect that given that it was developed there......

Justin Wilson drove it up the hill at Goodwood this summer - it was a lovely car, but why not by a cheaper car and actually enter it in a race series? Or if you really want a quick track day car, buy and old F2 or F3 car, or even an older sports racer?
