Anyone know if its possible?
Just an idea, must weigh about the same as a bike engine and you can get them to 150+ bhp quite easily

Strange idea. You'd have to make up your own mounts etc. - plus jap bike engines at a conservative 150bhp are a known quantity, off the shelf, un-burstable, and rev to 12,000+ rpm which is where the real power is.

I know its been done already with a mini. I was thinking a CB80 powererd Westie would be fantastic as the engine is so small and light and it would have bags of torque and it revs to arund 8000rpm if not more.
150bhp easilly possible and a whole lot more.
You'd need to change the clutch for something like the Camskill paddle clutch at the standard one would start to slip by then.

2 x GTtis and an MY00 Impreza Turbo.

Allen, did they mount it to a mini gearbox? If so it might be poss with a Midget gearbox...
I had a GTti before the scoob, engineering brilliance - totally sold on jap motors after that

Not sure. Think they transplanted most of the running rear into a custom subframe. I'll try and find out
Yeah they're awesome cars with amazing engines. Shame they never follwed it up with a proper replacement.
