Did ya watch the video? was excellent fun. I must admit I enjoyed it more than a full length race circuit. Much tighter and twisty

Cheers Evo a resonse is a response .......
Funny coz when i got there I thought it was gonna be boring. Then I took the scoob for a run round and thought bloody hell this thing aint built for this. Got the Pug out and had more fun then ive had for ages. Teaches you to drive rather than just have a fast straight line car.

Yeah, it wasn't meant to sound nasty, I'm sure it was way more fun doing it than watching it on a compressed vid is all I'm saying...at least your out there doing it etc.
You have to be pretty lairy or very fast to look great on vid, as I found out when I was caught on camera at a trackday....a fwd Prelude is hardly the height of excitement as it trundles past a camera 50yards away....
Try a bit of lift off next time you pass the camera, that always pleases the crowds.

Lift off is cool ..... although not recomended in a Pug i believe, round you go in a circle. I can appreciate your comment though, Some of the guys did drive slowly I must admit. Its my bit of fun so im gonna rag the **** out of it.
Thinking of taking up some form of motorsport now. Hill climbing sounds like a good starting point I think.
Safety devices cage arrived today so that, seats and harnesses are going in on friday

My brother learnt all about lift off oversteer in a Pug this weekend at the final sprint of the season.

Dunno why but he's just adopted some mad steering method which I haven't noticed on any other events. Will have to have a look at the suspension after it seemed to get some air off the kerbs !
My run out ...

Dream weaver, me and a mate are gonna have a go at fitting it on Friday afternoon.
I bought a bolt in one, but the base plates which you bolt too still have to be welded to the floor of the car. I have the front and rear cage, including rear cross member and door struts.
I have to finish taking the interior out first though because unfortunatly I have a sunroof car so the headlining etc has to come out as well, something i was hoping I could get away without doing.
I will post and let you know how i get on though.
As for the lift off oversteer, it sure didnt help the sprint run did it haha. Looks like fun to me, I would be keen on any info as to how to get into that sort of thing. Was gonna hill climb it next year but that looks like another option.
Oh and I had a big moment three corners in on saturday. I was first car on the track for practise and had her up on two wheels with around 8-10 inches of air under the tyres as the spepctators said. Wont be doing that again in a hurry ......
