cheers Mark, BUT he has said that that's not the colour, that is denim I think...

I always said that these were hair-dressers cars until I got a ride in 1 last year, very impressed with the ride , handling & build quality tbh.

edited to add- he is getting the 18"s 6 spoke, which are much better looking IMO ?

Shunty,

here's a Mauritius blue one:

Similar cars listed under Pelican blue and Kingfisher blue???

Prefer the Nogaro myself:

Edited because the links didn't work - see the used cars on the Audi site

Mike.

No way, Fiat coupe is 14.5 and my mates one murders TT's, my MK2 Golf 8v is as quick from 30-70 as the 180 and havinf driven the 225 I was underwhelmed, didnt feel as quick as a Scoob or the Fiat, not even near, must be very refined to make it feel that slow.

Not a TT driver but you're right about refinement making the car seem slower than it is. It IS slower than the classic Impreza in standard trim, but not that much.

Just back from baiting a BMW Z3 driver in the Octavia 4x4 220 turbo
(very similar to TT underneath) he he he.

It has a very flat torque curve without rechip thats why you don't get the big shove in the back - don't see why it wouldn't do it in 15.8 with 225 bhp, just because it doesn't feel like it doen't mean it doesn't do it.....

cheers lads, been off for a day.
lol @ Paul

that's not too bad then to 100, he is aware that a re-chip would change the car completly but he is buying brand new so warranty would be bu66ered ??

wouldn't worry about the warranty

never heard of anywork been refused on a 1.8t chipped car

Some dealers even send cars to be re-chipped - AMD have done loads of AUDI's and have an agreement with a big seat distributor
