Anyone got one, who knows someone who has got one ?

Just interested in what sort of mpg they get on motorway and round town ?

How much does it cost to fill up and what is the range ?

Cheers
Jonathan

Thumbs up

The wife has just got rid of one, from memory I think it got high 20's round town but never went on a motorway for a proper journey.

I'm sure you've heard it before but they are great cars, go for it.

Mrs C has had one for over a year, she drives the door handles off it and still gets c300 miles per tank. A tank costs less than £30.

Ditto comment above - it is about the most fun/chuckable car I have ever driven, you won't regret it IMO, go for the sports suspension plus with 17" wheels if you want the optimum handling - that;s what Mrs Cs is, and having driven a few combinations, that seems to be the best albeot with a firm ride.

The mini isn't actually for myself, it's for my girlfriend, who at the minute has a new bettle, which sups petrol nearly as badly as my scoob !

I agree with Gary I drive the doors of my wifes and it just sips the stuff, worst I have had is 270 miles from a tank.

on a long motorway slog at about 80 MPH I got around 40 MPG out of it.

Its just a laugh to drive and with the TLC pack it adds to your smile as it just costs nothing to drive!

Yeah as above - it doesn't appear to use petrol, pulls a bit better on Optimax.
The 'S guzzles it though, I got 20mpg on a test drive

Did 18k miles in my Cooper and avearged about 30-35mpg I suppose. Motorways were late 30s early 40s mpg.

Have a Cooper S now, done nearly 3k in it drank it like no ones business when the engine was still tight. Now returning 26mpg avearge. 19-20mpg when gunning it.

I get around 27-29MPG from my Cooper S, though once I got 32.
I also managed an impressive 20MPG out of one tank just after running it in

I didn't buy it for it's fuel economy though, I would have bought a diesel if that was important to me
