Chu from Devons got one which he's taken out on a couple of runs. Keeps up with the scoobs pretty well.
Email him on the southern thread if you're interested and I'm sure he'll tell you all about it.

Keep seeing a black HSV in Northampton
badges on the back state supercharged and 500
are they supercharged as standard and does the 500 refer to BHP?
Nice looking car and sounds great.

There's talk about a Holden Monaro coupe over here (coupe version of the holden/vaux omega - seen plenty of them in New Zealand). As long as it doesn't wear the Vauxhall badge, it could be a success. I like the look of them anyway.

I think the "normal" ones have a 5.7 litre N/A engine
Some of the early GTSs are available for sensible money now.

the supercharging is done by a company in England that import them. They then sell you it with the supercharger on. Normal versions only have 350 bhp. I have the article in a Top Gear magazine at work somewhere - they tested it in the wet and were having a hoot until the supercharger belt came off
Nice motor , but Id have it in the twisties in the wet in 2nd in a lake etc etc etc

I've seen that beast trundelling round Northampton as well. Not the sort of car to mess with !
As Linden Special Vehicles are based in Northampton I was wondering if it was actually their car but their website is kaput so I dunno ?
