I think 968's have round headlights, however the fact that the windscreen melted made me wonder if it was a lightweight model.

"Scumbags" come in several varieties. It's far from unknown for a financially challenged owner to torch his own car ... or factory for Insurance claim purposes ....

It was a '44, either a Turbo or an S2. It also had a 'bridge spoiler' so (assuming that was original) it was most likely a turbo, which is borne out by it being white and the engine bits that are visible.

It's already on the 944 forum.

Grmbl, thinking about the punishment reflecting the crime http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/.../teufel029.gif, but the courts are hardly as enthusiastic about cars as we are.

I heard a judge (grew up with her) tell her mother in an argument about youngsters joyriding: 'we had `that before, no person was harmed. So it was not that bad.'

Gary

Where was that? Mail offline if you like. Just interested because I too love in bucks. Both nice looking cars I guess though the punto had nice wheels on it. B@stards

Thanks

Are they stupid?

Those wheels are worth at least 500 squid, even if they are from Barry down the pub.
