Default Smell a rat ?

Looking at a car advertised on Pistonheads.......on the advert it says "email me direct as my pistonheads email isn't working" so I email her and get this :

The car is still available for sale,it is in extremely good condition,100% HPI Clear (no accidents or finance) ,full service history from new.Currently I am on a business trip to Australia and will have to stay here for about 10 months (this is why I am selling the car and I am looking for a fast sale to finance the Australian project )
I left the car in Pistonheads custody and they will handle the sale for me.The V5 logbook is already signed on my behalf so you can easily register it on your name, the car will come with 2 keys, all service records and previous MOT's. Pistonheads will deliver the car directly to your home address and I will pay all delivery expenses.
If you are interested in purchasing the car just e-mail the PistonHeads Sales Department directly at support@carsales-pistonheads.com
and they will assist you with any questions you might have regarding the transaction.

Kind Regards

Doesn't PH Classifieds still have great big banners all over it saying "Pistonheads does not arrange sales on any car owner's behalf, ever", or words to that effect? This sounds like exactly the type of scam they're warning against.

Post the advert up so we can all get in touch with the scammer and start a bidding war.

This an old school style con. I actually received a cheque when selling a car 8 years ago from a scam artists. I knew the score, car I was selling at 6k. Chq for 8k arrives. I'm to arrange for car to be transported to address xyz, and refund the £ difference. I kept the said buyer interested and actually informed the police and bank. Police not interested, bank attempted to cash the "car phone warehouse" chq. It failed and that was it!!!!

Next time I'll just not bother trying to help capture criminals.
